The Chicago Blackhawks today announced the programming and appearance schedule for the team’s official 2023 NHL Draft watch party at The Salt Shed (1357 N. Elston Ave.) in Chicago. The event, presented by Bud Light, is free and open to the public and promises to be an unforgettable evening for all who attend.
For expedite entry into the event, fans are encouraged to claim a free ticket HERE in advance to have pre-loaded in their Blackhawks App upon arrival. All fans must download the Chicago Blackhawks official mobile app and claim a ticket prior to entering The Salt Shed. QR codes will be available to assist in this process for walk-ins (first-come first-serve, until capacity is reached).
Gates open at 3 pm, so arrive early to celebrate alongside fellow Blackhawks fans before Chicago makes the historic No. 1 overall selection at around 6 pm Activities will include:
- Special appearances by Blackhawks Alumni Bryan Bickell, Adam Burish, Ben Eager, Steve Larmer and Denis Savard as well as current and former broadcasters Caley Chelios, Pat Foley, Darren Pang* and Chris Vosters;
- Live performances from Rod Tuffcurls and The Bench Press, DJ Oreo and Jim Cornelison;
- Kids Zone with activities perfect for our youngest fans including the Blackhawks inflatable rink, shoot the puck, face painter, balloon artist and more.
- additional offerings including food & beverage, immersive photo opportunities, a commemorative towel rally and other giveaways, and concluding drone show.
