A basic history textbook with a section on conducting a special military operation in Ukraine is ready for grade 11 students. This was announced by the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov.
“I hold a grade 11 textbook, a basic level. The manual turned out to be very interesting,” Kravtsov said during the Knowledge. First educational marathon.
Earlier, Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Tatyana Vasilyeva said that secondary school students would first receive textbooks with a section on SVO – by September 1 this year. It is assumed that by 2024-2025, textbooks will be used in droves. In addition to the basic level of the manual, work is in progress on an in-depth level.
According to Kravtsov, in addition to the SVO, the manual will also include other modern events: the entry into the Russian Federation of the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, and unprecedented pressures in matters of penalties.
The Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science added that questions about the SVO will also appear in the history exam. This will be done immediately after the appearance of new textbooks in all Russian schools.
