If left untreated, mold can pose a risk to vulnerable Brits with existing health problems such as eczema or asthma.

But one savvy shopper has found a window vacuum from Aldi that costs just £20.

The shopper posted the deal in Facebook’s Extreme Couponing and Bargains group.

She said: “My Karcher broke (outwith it’s two-year warranty)!

“And I came across this in Aldi special buys the other day … £20!

“It’s actually brilliant & has a three-year warranty, would recommend.”

And other shoppers took to the comments to voice their thoughts.

One commented: “I need one!!!”

While another wrote: “I was looking at them today are these good for windows and shower doors with no streaks or are the old fashioned way just as good.”

But one commented with a warning: “Just don’t try using it sideways like you can the Karcher.

“The water tips into the motor.”

The item is cordless and comes with a tank that holds up to 150ml of water.

At the time of writing, the vacuum was out of stock online but it could still be available in Aldi stores.

It’s always worth popping down to your local Aldi to see if you can find it there.

Of course, stock and prices may vary from store to store.

At the time of writing we found the famous Karcher window vacuum for £34.99 at Halfords.

Although depending on the time of vacuum you’re after it can go up to over £200.

Robert Dyas is also selling a similar vacuum for £25.99.

While Aldi’s is the cheapest, it might be wise to weigh up the size and read the reviews of each option first, then decide what is best for you.
