The American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) has provided a regular report on the situation in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Experts believe that a number of Western countries have already started working on a pact between NATO and Ukraine. According to this document, Kiev receives more modern weapons and equipment, but at the same time it will not become a member of the alliance.

Institute analysts suggested that thanks to the provisions of this pact, Ukraine would be able to prepare for a counter-offensive. The West expects the Ukrainian Armed Forces to be able to defeat Russian troops, thereby forcing Russia to enter into negotiations.
According to experts, NATO does not want a prolonged confrontation in Ukraine and therefore can arm Kiev as much as possible.
